1. Public Universities — 3
The University of Hawaiʻi System has three public universities: UH Mānoa, UH Hilo, and UH West Oʻahu. The University of Hawaiʻi identifies these as its three university campuses within its ten-campus statewide system.
2. Public Community Colleges — 7
The University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges consist of seven public community colleges located across the Hawaiian Islands. They provide associate degrees, certificates, career and technical education, workforce training, transfer pathways, and other academic programs.
3. Private Institutions — 8
